      Contemporary Realism

      The realist style did not disappear after the Second World War. The collection of Museum MORE includes works by various contemporary artists who share an interest in craftsmanship and precision, while offering their own unique perspectives on reality.

      From established leading names to emerging talents, the collection features artists such as Marlene Dumas, Erwin Olaf, Philip Akkerman, Ruud van Empel, Silvia B, Arnout Killian, Annemarie Busschers, Lotta de Beus, Katinka Lampe, and Lara de Moor.

      What is Contemporary Realism?

      Contemporary Realism includes works created from 1950 to the present day. Museum MORE holds a large number of works by contemporary realist artists and continues to expand this collection. At the Gorssel location, a selection of these contemporary works is always on display as part of the permanent collection presentation.

      Omleiding naar MORE Gorssel

      Tijdelijke omleiding

      Van dinsdag 13 oktober t/m vrijdag 23 oktober is de Hoofdstraat in Gorssel deels afgeloten voor autoverkeer. Je kunt Museum MORE wel bereiken via omleidingen. 

      Kom je vanaf de A1? Volg de Deventerweg N438 naar het zuiden en sla bij restaurant 't Elf Uur links af. Slag vervolgens meteen rechtsaf de Molenweg op. Sla op de Molenweg rechts af de Joppelaan op. Op de Joppelaan, vlak voor de Hoofdstraat, sla je links af het parkeerterrein op van het museum.

      Kom je vanaf Zutphen/Eefde? Volg de Zutphenseweg N438 naar het Noorden. Sla terhoogte van het kerkhof af naar rechts, de Kamperweg op. Volg de Kamperweg, met de bocht mee links. Rij de hele Kamperweg af tot aan de kruising met de Jopplena. Sla links de Joppelaan in. Op de Joppelaan, vlak voor de Hoofdstraat, sla je links af het parkeerterrein op van het museum.
